Spring Season Blog/Covid Update January 28 2021
First of all, we would like to send a big thank for your patronage while under lockdown. It is difficult for many in the current situation, but we appreciate all the support you have given us in these challenging times.
We are often getting asked how the lockdown is affecting us as a business and what the future will hold? While it is hard to give a definitive answer, especially as it is unclear when this lockdown will end. We believe this will be around the first week in May.
Deliveries for SS21 will still be arriving, although some are being re-scheduled slightly later than initially planned due to the enforced closure of our store, though we still expect all Spring deliveries to be completed by the time the current lockdown ends.
Without any doubt online shopping will be the way the majority of consumers shop in the future and that will never change. We will continue to change and evolve our business to consumer demands as we have always done. However, we strongly believe there will always be a core of consumers that want to shop in physical stores and want the level of service that no online business can provide.
For as long as that remains the case, we are strongly committed to retain J&B Menswear as a multi channel business, rather than going down the road of exclusively being an e-tailer, which is one we wish to avoid.
We look forward to the day we permanently open our doors again and see you all again. In the meantime, our website will still be fully functioning 24/7, with click and collect and telephone still available from our store between 10.00 - 4.00 weekdays and 09.00 - 10.30 Saturdays.
